Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Facilities HVAC Technician in Kent, WA to maintain and optimize HVAC and cryogenic systems across our facilities. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, managing cryogenic storage, and ensuring safety and compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with vendors, and support Maximo PMs while working in a safety‑driven, on‑site setting.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of practical experience in industrial/commercial HVAC maintenance or related fields.
• Washington State Specialty Electrician HVAC/R license (06A or 06B).
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, AHUs).
• Strong subcontractor and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 10/30).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, PIDs, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems (humidifiers, boilers, rooftop units, AHUs, VFDs).
• Operate and monitor GN2/LN2 bulk systems and related controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on cryogenic systems and storage tanks.
• Monitor cryogenics inventory and ensure uninterrupted supply for manufacturing.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics; interpret PIDs.
• Support CMMS documentation and PM scheduling in Maximo.
• Lead facilities/Cryogenic projects, manage bids and budgets.
