Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a maintenance worker to perform semi-skilled tasks in buildings, grounds, and equipment operations. You will operate light equipment like utility vehicles, tractors, mowers, and trucks, assist with trades-level work, and help with daily assignments.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing structures, maintaining playgrounds and grounds, preparing work orders, moving items, and supporting classroom and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with building and grounds maintenance is preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains structures and/or equipment.
• Operates light equipment in daily activities and performs standard preventative maintenance.
• Prepares work orders and paperwork for daily assignments.
• Moves equipment and furniture as directed and assists in grounds maintenance tasks.
• Supports classroom and facility upkeep as needed.
