Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Custodial and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee custodial staff and contracted workers at an elementary school facility. You will supervise daily operations, conduct facility inspections, coordinate preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies to keep environments safe and clean.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related maintenance experience, with AZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two years of relevant maintenance experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Oversees district employees or contracted workers, prioritizing and assigning work; provides input for performance and evaluations; ensures staff are trained.
Conducts inspections of facilities to ensure systems and equipment meet district standards.
Oversees maintenance of district equipment, systems, and facilities including security, scheduling, and compliance with codes.
Provides customer service by responding to requests from staff, administrators, parents, vendors, visitors, and students.
Coordinates facility activities including events setup/teardown, moving items, and preventive maintenance.
Responds to emergency situations and documents schedules, logs, and reports.
