Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains structures and equipment such as walls, fencing, playground equipment, and desks.
• Operates light equipment and performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Prepares work orders and related paperwork.
• Moves equipment, furniture, and boxed items as directed.
• Participates in grounds maintenance activities including mowing, trash pickup, and field maintenance.
• Assists in basic maintenance in classrooms, offices, sport courts, and parking areas.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
