Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Facilities Manager for the Los Angeles Convention Center to lead the Facilities setup department, plan event room changes, and manage strikes with safety and precision. You will direct Facilities Supervisors and staff across shifts, translate event requirements into clear assignments, coordinate equipment readiness, and collaborate with Event Management to meet project goals.

• Minimum five years of experience in convention center operations or facility management.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating event setups.
• Ability to read floor plans and manage room changes and strikes.
• Proficiency with office software and event scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute event setups, room changes, and strikes across shifts.
• Lead Facilities Supervisors and staff, ensuring safety and service quality.
• Schedule staff weekly and monitor labor utilization.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of department personnel.
• Maintain equipment storage, traceability, and maintenance readiness.
• Communicate with Event Management and other departments for changes.
