Job summary

The Waters seeks an Environmental Services Manager to lead the environmental services and housekeeping teams, ensuring maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the community and grounds. You will oversee staff, assist with budget discussions, and coordinate with vendors to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry or a senior living community.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical college or 4 year degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in Direct Supply TELS preferred.
• Experience leading and managing the environmental services and housekeeping team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Attend and participate in regular budget discussions for the environmental services division.
• Ability to effectively prioritize projects and evaluate improvements for value add.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the environmental services team and housekeeping team
• Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate maintenance and housekeeping services staff to uphold high level of service standards
• Hire, evaluate and discipline staff as needed
• Participate in budget discussions for the environmental services division
• Work with corporate wide maintenance and vendors as needed to meet community needs
• Inspect grounds and buildings and prioritize projects, recommend capital improvements and evaluate improvements for value add
• Lead maintenance and housekeeping to take accountability for the building and grounds; monitor the look, smell, cleanliness and maintenance of all spaces
