Job summary

Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living in Short Pump, VA, is seeking a Senior Manager of Facilities & Engineering to lead maintenance, engineering and grounds services for residents and staff.

The role targets cost savings, ensures mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems run efficiently, and oversees annual budgeting and team training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in facilities management with supervisory responsibility.
• Minimum 5 years in management.
• Healthcare environment experience is a plus.
• CMMS experience is required.
• Within 1 year, CPMM, EPA 608, NFPA 70E and OSHA 10-Hour certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor a Cost Savings Program integrated with building systems.
• Ensure plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Provide training for maintenance, engineering and grounds staff.
• Ensure facilities comply with federal, state and local regulations.
• Develop annual budgets for Maintenance, Engineering and Grounds.
• Review monthly financial statements for variances from budget.
• Maintain beautifully landscaped grounds and curb appeal.
• Utilize staff and resources efficiently; outsource where cost-effective.
