Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Facilities Manager to lead engineers and maintenance staff, ensuring high-quality engineering programs and strong customer service aligned with client expectations. The role may include hands-on duties and watch activity as needed.

The position requires 7+ years in commercial properties, relevant certifications, and a solid grasp of EMS and building systems. Expect coordination with tenants and vendors and participation in safety and compliance programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting.
• Vocational/Technical training certificate.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade (Journeyman/Master Electrician).
• Familiarity with EMS programming and fire alarm systems.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring and training.
• Drive performance management and development through HR processes.
• Coordinate annual safety program and ensure 100% compliance.
• Manage operating and capital budgets and cost reporting.
• Oversee building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety.
• Develop preventive maintenance and inspection programs and schedules.
