Job summary

Weil Group, Inc in Villalba, Puerto Rico, seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer - Sterilization to lead analysis, design, and support for multi-year sterilization infrastructure projects at a medical device manufacturing facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 4+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master’s Degree and 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
• Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
• Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
• Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
• Inspects or directs the inspection of construction, installation progress, and commissioning to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Travel to other sites 5-10% depending on project needs
