Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Architecture/Construction with relevant experience.
• 5 years of project management, construction management, and/or facilities experience, or 3 years with a Master's, or a PhD with relevant experience.
• Ability to review construction drawings and specifications; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and management of facilities projects supporting sustaining infrastructure and program facilitation.
• Gather, review and finalize facility requirements data, equipment specs and schedules.
• Plan, design and oversee reconfiguration, maintenance and alteration of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering firms to develop design criteria and review drawings.
• Prepare scopes of work and procurement documents for design/construction services.
• Review cost estimates including design, equipment, installation, labor and materials.
• Inspect construction progress to ensure conformance with plans and schedules.
• Forecast and report project status with risk, cost and schedule metrics.
• Develop risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as needed.
