Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Sr. Facilities Engineer to lead building and plant operations across lab, manufacturing, and utility environments. You will oversee maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure GMP compliance while mentoring junior members.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, coordination with multiple departments, and travel to client sites up to 100% as needed for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years facilities engineering experience or equivalent.
• GMP cleanroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, and equipment operations.
• Capex project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM/PM with external service providers under contracts.
• Ensure CM/PM programs meet GMP and internal procedures.
• Inspect facility utilities, equipment, and systems for risks and improvements.
• Update P&IDs, HVAC docs, electrical one-lines and process diagrams.
• Oversee monitoring of critical equipment and alarm responses.
• Lead troubleshooting and corrective actions for HVAC and lab equipment.
• Respond to alarms and outages with technical leadership.
• Document inspections, repairs, and system performance per SOPs.
• Support audit readiness and facility preparedness.
• Manage environmental waste in line with safety standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D.
• Provide shift turnover reports and mentor junior staff.
