Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale facilities construction projects, from pre-design through close-out. The role requires coordinating with clients, design teams, and contractors to meet budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in similar roles, with ability to manage capital projects and lead diverse teams across multiple sites, including College Park or other USM institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management and administration of pre-design, design, and construction, commissioning and close-out services.
• Oversees project authorization, funding, cash flow projections and financial performance.
• Leads coordination with design professionals, consultants and contractors for capital projects.
• Manages project teams and coordinates with client representatives on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensures safe working practices and adherence to scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
