Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team in support of large-scale government construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background overseeing complex initiatives and coordinating between architects, engineers, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes governance, best practices, and timely reporting, with on-site presence required to ensure design standards are applied correctly and milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and suppliers to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized and best practices followed.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure adherence to approved design standards.
• Interface with all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Communicate project information through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestones and monitor local design teams per commission criteria.
