Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Admr III to plan, coordinate and direct statewide building maintenance, renovations and repairs for Oklahoma Military Department facilities. You will supervise 3–5 regional staff, manage budgets and write work statements for facility projects, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in skilled trades, strong supervisory capability, and the ability to travel within and beyond Oklahoma as needed.

Qualifications

• Six years of skilled building trade or maintenance experience.
• Three years supervising employees, inmates, or contractors.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate division activities.
• Knowledge of federal and state construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, premises and equipment; estimate costs.
• Manage supervisory staff; prepare budgets and reports.
• Evaluate bids and prepare specifications for equipment.
• Plan and direct movement of heavy construction equipment.
• Travel within and outside the state as needed.
