Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department seeks a Construction/Maintenance Administrator III to plan, coordinate, and direct maintenance and repair of state-owned buildings, grounds, and equipment. You will supervise construction/maintenance technicians and licensed trades specialists on major projects.

Compensation: $62,926.00 annually. This role requires budgeting, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and frequent travel within the state.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in skilled building trades.
• Three years of supervising employees, inmates, or contractors.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws relating to public administration.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and equipment to determine maintenance needs.
• Develop budgets, supervise staff, and oversee contracts.
• Prepare cost estimates and review plans and construction documents.
• Plan and direct movement of heavy construction equipment.
• Supervise 3–5 subordinates and travel as required.
