Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Facets Developer to lead the TriZetto Facets modernization effort and deliver high-availability, low-latency healthcare payer solutions. You will guide architecture, design, and coding across on-premise and cloud-based environments, partnering with business and technology teams to drive impactful results.
The role requires 8+ years of experience in health IT, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering scalable, high-performing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
- 8+ years of experience in related field.
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert and lead analysis, design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
- Provide technical leadership to other IT specialists.
- Independently write well designed, testable, efficient code for varied IT solutions.
- Lead discovery to understand complex business problems and execute assignments.
- Evaluate options for buy vs. build decisions and communicate with stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of technology trends and best practices for continuous learning.
- Lead project teams and mentor less experienced members.
- Assist management with employee development and training.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve processes.
