Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the design, development and testing of high‑volume, low‑latency healthcare applications using TriZetto Facets. You’ll mentor teammates and drive solutions for complex payer systems across fulfillment, membership, billing and enrollment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
• 8+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert and lead analysis, design and development of high volume, low latency healthcare applications.
• Lead implementation and integration of TriZetto Facets across fulfillment, membership, billing, and enrollment.
• Write well designed, testable code and provide technical leadership to IT team members.
• Conduct discovery to understand complex problems and execute assignments independently.
• Evaluate buy vs. build options and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Analyze production issues and communicate resolutions to team and vendors.
• Stay updated on technology trends and apply IT best practices.
• Represent department on enterprise project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Assist management with employee development and training initiatives.
