Job summary

Flex Craft is seeking a 1st shift Experienced Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will produce high-quality metal components using fabrication equipment, hand tools, blueprints, and work instructions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in metal fabrication, can read drawings independently, and operates plasma tables, saws, drills, and grinders. This hands-on role supports other production areas as needed and emphasizes safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in metal fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience with fabrication equipment setup and operation

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, work orders, and job travelers.
• Measure, mark, cut, drill, bend, form, fit, and assemble metal components.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as plasma table, saws, drills, grinders, presses, shears, and related machinery.
• Perform welding and tack welding when required.
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, squares, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Identify material, equipment, or quality concerns and promptly communicate them to the appropriate team member.
• Complete assigned work within established production schedules.
• Maintain accurate production, material, and quality records.
• Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
• Help train or support less-experienced team members when requested.
• Assist in other production areas based on workload and company needs.
• Participate in continuous-improvement efforts related to safety, quality, efficiency, and workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
