Job summary

The Toro Company in Windom, MN is seeking a Fabrication Project Engineer to lead advanced manufacturing initiatives, improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

You will mentor engineers, drive lean manufacturing, develop long-term manufacturing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable growth and operational excellence. This role requires deep manufacturing expertise and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Engineering in manufacturing, mechanical, or related field.
Fabrication Project Engineer III: 4-6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Fabrication Project Engineer IV: 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of TOC and Lean methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead complex manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and facility improvements.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
Lead cross-functional teams for new products and manufacturing technologies.
Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Identify and lead cost reduction, value engineering, automation, and capital initiatives.
