Job summary

Frequentis USA is seeking an experienced Training Development Lead to create and manage training programs for air traffic controllers and system maintainers. You will design content, coordinate with FAA-approved methods, and lead cross-functional training initiatives to ensure mission-critical performance.

The role demands deep FAA knowledge, 8+ years in training, and strong communication and instructional design capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in training development with lead role experience.
• Instructing or training developer experience in FAA or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airspace systems, and ATC procedures.
• Excellent communication and instructional design skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, education, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for air traffic controllers and system maintainers.
• Lead collaboration with the FAA to develop and deliver training for mission critical systems.
• Design engaging content including classroom instruction, simulations, and e-learning modules.
• Conduct training sessions using FAA-approved materials and methodologies.
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, simulations, and feedback sessions.
• Update training materials to reflect FAA regulation changes and best practices.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training relevance and accuracy.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support certification and re-certification processes for ATC personnel.
