Job summary

Frontier Airlines, a Denver-based airline, seeks a Training Specialist to develop and facilitate maintenance training for technicians, engineers, and vendors. You will ensure compliance with FARs and company standards, and maintain accurate LMS/FMIS records while delivering effective on-the-job training.

Ideal candidates have FAA A&P (or FCC) licenses, 3+ years in classroom instruction, and solid understanding of aircraft systems, with a preference for Airbus A320 experience and Ground

Qualifications

• Five years of aviation line or hangar maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P license and/or FCC Radio license (required).
• Three years’ experience in classroom instruction and/or adult learning environment.
• Three years’ experience with Airbus A320 aircraft (preferred).
• Strong understanding of aircraft system operations.
• FAA-certificated Ground Instructor (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and facilitate training for maintenance technicians, engineers, and vendors.
• Coordinate SMS activities and safety risk assessments per company standards.
• Provide CFR/Regulatory compliance for recurrent training (e.g., Winter Operations, HM, RII).
• Develop training material to meet FAR and Frontier standards.
• Update LMS and FMIS with training records; deliver OJT to technicians.
