Job summary

Precision Air in Florence, SC is seeking a Chief Inspector to lead the Repair Station Inspectors and ensure compliance with FARs, RSQCM, and QMS. You will direct inspection standards, approve forms, maintain technical data, and supervise calibration of precision equipment. The role demands strong leadership and aviation regulatory expertise.

The Chief Inspector will ensure proper maintenance releases, ISO quality management, and thorough documentation for all work orders and inspections.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate and IA preferred.
• 8 years in FAA Part 145 repair environment with supervisory/inspector roles.
• Technical degree in aviation field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage repair station inspectors.
• Ensure inspections and records are complete prior to releasing aircraft.
• Maintain calibration and accuracy of inspection tools and data.
• Oversee compliance with FARs, RSQCM, and QMS.
