Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a Sr. Eyelet Toolmaker to maintain tooling processes for eyelet stamping and support production scheduling. You will troubleshoot tools, set up presses, and work from engineering blueprints to meet tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years with Baird and Waterbury Farrel equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints. Candidates should be prepared for hands-on tool room work and collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on with US Baird machines (325, 219, 437) and Waterbury Farrel (10, 12 frame)
• Able to read blueprints and interpret specifications
• Experience with metal forming on high-speed transfer presses a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, construct, alter and repair complex eyelet tooling and fixtures
• Insert tooling and troubleshoot eyelet tools and presses
• Follow blueprints and specs to resolve tolerances and cost issues
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality
• Run and set up tool room equipment for eyelet transfers
• Troubleshoot and repair production tooling and components
