Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an extrusion operator to set up and run the extrusion process while performing quality checks to ensure material meets specifications.

You will coordinate with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs and collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues as they arise. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 30 lbs, and possess basic machine shop knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred.
• Basic machine shop knowledge and ability is preferred but not required.
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machine and perform quality checks for conformance.
• Interface with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream product needs.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues as needed.
