Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Technician in Wilsonville, OR to support extrusion and downstream manufacturing, drive process stability, and train operators.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to execute trials and root-cause investigations, improving yield and process performance. Responsibilities include expanding and supporting extrusion operations, validating processes, and contributing to safety, quality, and cost goals

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in extrusion manufacturing or related processes.
• Ability to read and interpret process instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting process trials, validation work, or root cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and support production operators on extrusion and downstream processes.
• Lead knowledge transfer from Engineering to Operations to build process capability.
• Plan and execute trials as part of root cause investigations and process development.
• Provide hands-on support for extrusion and downstream operations (expansion, cutting, inspection, packaging).
• Observe equipment and process behavior to identify defects or drift.
• Support machine setup, tooling changes, and parameter adjustments within approved windows.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, setup sheets, and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement projects targeting efficiency, yield, and downtime.
