Job summary

AmeriTex Pipe & Products is seeking a skilled machine operator with 3+ years in an industrial setting to operate, monitor and maintain extrusion equipment and related systems. You will oversee changeovers, start-ups and shut-downs, while ensuring safety, quality and productivity on the line.

You will train or guide operators, collaborate with maintenance and supervisory teams, and help meet production targets with a focus on efficiency and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• 3–5 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience training or leading employees (Lead Operator / Shift Lead preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers, start-ups and shut-downs.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks and quality testing.
• Prepare production records and reports.
• Provide guidance to machine operators on production processes.
