Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a candidate to set up and operate an extrusion machine, performing quality checks to ensure material conforms to specifications. The role requires coordination with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream needs and collaboration with Maintenance and Engineering to address performance issues.

Ideal applicants have machine-set-up experience, basic machine shop knowledge, and familiarity with inspection equipment and hand tools. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with machine set-up preferred.
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the extrusion machine and perform quality checks to verify finished material meets specifications.
• Interface with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream product needs.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues as needed.
