Job summary

Michael Page partners with a Fortune 200 manufacturing client to recruit a Senior External Reporting Manager. This role leads SEC reporting activities, ensures U.S. GAAP compliance, and coordinates with auditors and senior leaders from Accounting & Finance at the corporate HQ.

The successful candidate will oversee 10-K/10-Q/8-K processes, MD&A disclosures, and technical memos, while supporting SOX controls and reporting processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• SEC Reporting Experience.
• CPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements, earnings releases).
• Ensure disclosures comply with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and reporting requirements.
• Manage financial statement preparation, including footnotes and MD&A.
• Prepare technical accounting memos supporting significant conclusions.
• Support SOX 404 compliance initiatives in financial reporting controls.
• Develop and maintain reporting controls and documentation procedures.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and external auditors for reviews and audits.
• Ensure timely resolution of audit and regulatory comments.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, and Corporate Accounting teams.
• Support communications with executive leadership, including CFO and Controller.

Description
