Job summary

Frey Consulting Group seeks an External Reporting & Government Relations Manager to oversee all external reporting, compliance coordination, and stakeholder communications for federally funded projects. You will manage reporting obligations across U.S.

federal agencies, lenders, and joint ventures, acting as the primary liaison, identifying risks, and coordinating solutions with internal teams and legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in external reporting, grant administration, project finance, compliance, or related roles involving U.S. federal funding programs.
• Working knowledge of federal grant regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with multi-project management.
• Ability to communicate complex financial and regulatory information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master external reporting calendar for federal agencies, lenders, and JV partners.
• Review and validate reporting packages for compliance with grant agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee data consolidation and quality assurance for external reports and presentations.
• Coordinate timely submission of reports, including progress, financials, and drawdowns.
• Serve as primary point of contact for lender inquiries and reporting requirements.
• Manage grant and loan drawdown processes with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations and funding requirements.
• Act as liaison with federal agencies, lenders, and JV partners on reporting matters.
• Identify compliance risks and coordinate responses with legal and contract teams.
• Represent the project in audits, site visits, and regulatory reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impacts to leadership.
