Frey Consulting Group seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to support clients across nonprofits, healthcare, transportation, and more. This role emphasizes execution, independent task management, and collaboration with Consulting Managers to ensure quality deliverables.

You will handle client onboarding, month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance support, leveraging strong Excel skills and GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–10+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-focused accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor requests.
• Contribute to process improvements, data mappings, and system/automation initiatives.
• Manage tasks independently and communicate progress to the Consulting Manager.
