Job summary

HawkEye 360 in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute to the preparation of SEC filings, consolidated financial statements, and technical accounting documentation. The role ensures accuracy and integrity of reporting deliverables in accordance with U.S.

GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. You will prepare sections of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, assist with auditor inquiries, and support consolidation and intercompany processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CPA-eligible.
• 3+ years accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to research rules around U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sections of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings with schedules and footnotes.
• Support external financial reporting and ensure filings are accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information for disclosures.
• Assist with consolidations, intercompany entries, and audit requests.
