Responsibilities

• Conduct audits alone or with a team, gathering information and reviewing records, operations, and systems according to standard practices.
• Lead audit teams and manage reviews of agency activities funded or overseen by the state.
• Make decisions on routine audit matters and support supervisor during busy periods.
• Prepare and review audit reports for accuracy.
• Follow agency rules and conduct meetings with those being audited.
• Perform data analysis of financial and program information to identify trends and support findings.
• Provide technical advice to audited agencies and participate in training and staff meetings.
