Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Field Quality Engineer, External Components, to own field investigations for exterior systems such as closures, trim, lighting and glazing. You will lead root-cause analysis, validate corrective actions, and drive improvements using warranty and service data.

Qualifications

• 5 years of automotive/quality engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience leading root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of exterior automotive systems (closures, trim, lighting, glazing, sealing).

Responsibilities

• Lead exterior component field investigations and determine root cause.
• Own containment and corrective action development and validation.
• Analyze warranty claims, service data, and customer feedback to identify risks.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.
