Job summary

You will own high-priority, cross-functional investigations from triage through root cause, corrective action, validation, and verified closure.

In the first year, you will reduce investigation cycle time, prevent repeat failures, and raise the technical standard for Field Quality across commodities.

Qualifications

• 10 years of automotive field quality and related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience investigating complex customer-facing vehicle issues across multiple systems.
• Experience analyzing diagnostic data and vehicle logs.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-vehicle investigations from triage to closure.
• Define investigation strategy and evidence standards.
• Direct permanent corrective and preventive actions across design, software, calibration, manufacturing, and service.
• Quantify affected populations, severity, recurrence risk, warranty exposure, and customer impact to prioritize escalations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution.
• Mentor engineers in diagnostics and problem-solving.
