Job summary

Pilot Company is hiring a Sr Technician for Exterior Lighting and Signage. This full-time role focuses on diagnosing and repairing exterior signage and lighting, from ballasts to high-voltage components, across multiple sites. You will communicate status to supervisors and ensure safety and compliance in every task.

The position requires extensive electrical experience, an OSHA 30 certification, and ability to travel up to 75%. A journeyman license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ commercial electrical experience; seven years preferred.
• Electrical journeyman license preferred.
• Minimum three years aerial lift and electrical experience at heights 60 to 80 feet required; five years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders.
• Identify problems with electrical signage and lighting; analyze issues and determine repairs (ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures; 120–480V).
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete service appointments; insert notes and communicate with facility maintenance.
