Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Designer, Environments, to shape physical brand experiences from retail to events. You will lead design across spaces, ensure cohesive storytelling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, impactful environments.

The role requires hands-on execution, a strong portfolio in experiential design, and fluency with Rhino/SketchUp/Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. On-site presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creative design, interior design, furniture, or experiential design.
• Strong portfolio showing work in physical environments and brand touchpoints.
• Proficiency in 3D spatial software and 2D design tools.
• Ability to explain design decisions to cross-functional partners.
• Willingness to work onsite 3–5 days per week and travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead experiential design for retail spaces, events, and brand partnerships.
• Hands-on creator driving projects from ideation to final execution.
• Collaborate with video, photography, marketing, retail, and facilities teams.
• Design with storytelling through materiality, color, and spatial planning.
• Translate briefs into compelling physical spaces for special projects.
