Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Designer, Environments, to shape how the brand comes to life in physical spaces. You will lead experiential design for retail, activations, and partnerships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure storytelling and scalability align with our creative vision.

This hands-on role requires strong 3D software skills and a robust portfolio of physical environments. You will work onsite several days per week across our Georgia office, contributing to a dynamic

Qualifications

• 5+ years in creative design, interior design, furniture, or experiential design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work in physical environments and brand touchpoints.
• Proficiency in Rhino/SketchUp/Revit and 2D tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to explain complex design decisions to partners across backgrounds.
• Agility in adapting to shifting project needs while maintaining brand direction.
• Detail-oriented with expertise in spatial layout, materials, and FF&E.

Responsibilities

• Lead Experiential Design for spaces across retail, events, and brand partnerships.
• Be a hands-on do-er, driving projects from sketch to final execution.
• Collaborate with video, photography, marketing, retail, and facilities teams.
• Design spaces with clear storytelling through color, materiality, texture, furniture, and planning.
• Translate briefs into compelling physical spaces for special projects and flagship experiences.
• Select finishes, materials, and FF&E aligned with brand aesthetics and operational needs.
• Develop and present executable concept designs and visual narratives to stakeholders.
