Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to lead UX and product design for PrudentialPeak®, translating customer needs and business priorities into engaging digital experiences for policyholders and families. You will collaborate with marketing, product, technology, and operations to shape the end-to-end journey.

This role requires a strong background in experience architecture, product strategy, and human-centered design, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Product Design, UX or equivalent design role with end-to-end digital product thinking and measurable impact.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a similar consumer product environment.
• Solid experience across core UX/product design methods including research, user testing, IA/site mapping, journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and workshop facilitation.
• Experience framing complex business challenges as customer/experience problems across multiple business units and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment, proactively defining next steps and driving work forward.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, content strategy, plain language, and accessibility.
• Experience working in lean and/or agile environments.
• Basic front-end development integration knowledge.
• Ability to translate outputs into compelling narratives, presentations, and decision materials for diverse leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs, behavioral insights, business priorities, and constraints into practical design recommendations.
• Create intuitive information architecture, experience flows, prototypes, and digital touchpoints supporting customer and business outcomes.
• Identify patterns across journeys and stakeholder needs to recommend product opportunities and roadmap priorities.
• Apply human-centered design to define problems, generate concepts, test assumptions, and refine solutions for Prudential Peak.
• Create and rapidly iterate wireframes, concepts, and interactive prototypes aligned with user stories and journeys.
• Co-create feasible design solutions with developers, marketing, product stakeholders, and SMEs.
• Build clear, evidence-based recommendations for design improvements with customer need, business rationale, impact, and implementation considerations.
• Communicate design decisions with clear rationale grounded in customer insight, usability, accessibility, and business objectives.
• Plan and facilitate collaborative sessions to align cross-functional teams on challenges and priorities.
• Analyze existing experiences to identify friction points, accessibility gaps, and opportunities for measurable improvement.
