WECTEC Staffing Services in Houston, TX seeks an Expeditor to support the Supply Chain function on a 12-month assignment. You will expedite equipment/materials, coordinate with vendors, engineering, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery aligned with construction schedules.

The role focuses on managing documentation, mitigating risks, and keeping stakeholders informed of status and potential delays. Strong communication and process discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of applied experience in expediting and related logistics/purchasing
• Experience with project documentation requirements and vendor coordination
• Understanding of Incoterms, shipping methods and warehousing strategies
• Ability to manage timelines and work across diverse projects with conflicting deadlines

Responsabilités

• Expedite assigned equipment/materials and ensure on-time readiness per project schedule
• Manage vendor documentation and logistics between vendor, engineering, and project teams
• Coordinate vendor supply meetings and communicate status to stakeholders
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve freight or shipment issues
• Maintain expediting files and report equipment/material status to stakeholders
