Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston is seeking a Senior Expeditor to own the schedule-side view of procurement across its active project portfolio. You will build and maintain the master delivery timeline, track critical-path packages from award through fabrication and shipment, and surface risk to leadership before it jeopardizes milestones.

The role is autonomous, collaborating with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and Field Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
7+ years in expediting, procurement, scheduling, or supply chain project management.
Advanced knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and ERP systems.
Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the consolidated procurement and delivery schedule across active packages.
Track open purchase orders and flag deviations early, driving corrective actions.
Lead vendor and carrier check-ins to validate commitments and escalate issues.
Manage dependencies between vendor drawings, engineering approvals, and fabrication milestones.
Escalate risks to leadership with recommended trade‑offs.
Maintain supplier performance reporting to inform awards and scheduling.
Keep order status and supplier correspondence up to date.
Mentor expeditors and procurement coordinators daily.
Drive continuous improvement of expediting processes and tools.
