Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Senior Expeditor to manage the master procurement and delivery schedule across active projects within our geotherm initiative. You will own schedule conflicts, track POs, and collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and Field Operations to keep milestones on track.

In this senior, largely autonomous role, you will mentor junior expeditors, surface risks before they impact milestones, and help implement process improvements that speed delivery and reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; or 10+ years relevant experience considered.
• 7+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, scheduling, or supply chain project management.
• Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) and ERP/procurement platforms.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or informally leading junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Own and reissue the consolidated procurement and delivery schedule across active packages.
• Track open POs against the master schedule and drive corrective actions.
• Lead recurring check-ins with vendors and freight carriers to validate schedule commitments and drive corrective action.
• Own dependency tracking between vendor drawings, engineering approvals, fabrication milestones, and site readiness.
• Escalate delivery and schedule risk to senior leadership with a recommended path forward.
• Maintain and improve supplier performance reporting.
• Keep order status, delivery milestones, and supplier correspondence.
• Mentor and guide junior expeditors and procurement coordinators.
• Drive continuous improvement of expediting processes, tools, and reporting standards.
