Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Florida. You will collaborate with clients to provide tax compliance and advisory services and work with the tax team on complex issues.

You will demonstrate exempt and corporate tax skills, manage engagements, mentor staff, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and client experience. CPA eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide tax compliance and advisory services and work with the tax team to identify complex issues.
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills.
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines and client relationships.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative Exempt Tax team.
