Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Senior Associate for our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in the United States. You will collaborate with clients to deliver tax compliance and advisory services while guiding other team members through complex issues and engagements.

You will mentor staff, leverage new software, and help develop standardized templates to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction across exempt and corporate tax work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
• CPA exam eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services.
• Work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills.
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency and client experience.
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing Exempt Tax team.

• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
