Job summary

IMA Financial Group in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Executive Risk professional to independently manage complex ERS engagements for new and renewal placements. You will oversee RFPs, assess client needs, market and place risks, and negotiate best-in-class coverage with carriers.

The role requires a CPAC license, 7+ years in Executive Risk, and strong client-facing communication. Mentoring colleagues and leveraging EPIC workflows are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree viewed favorably.
• 7+ years of Executive Risk experience in brokering, underwriting, claims, legal, or risk management.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Executive Risk/Management Liability designations preferred (MLIS, RPLU, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned Executive Risk engagements (new and renewal).
• Lead RFP participation, client needs assessments, marketing, and placement.
• Negotiate best-in-class coverage with carriers and manage client proposals.
• Present regularly to internal and external clients and provide claims advocacy.
• Mentor and train ERS associates and clients; assist with EPIC/Agency workflows.
• Understand financial statements and underwriting implications; interpret org charts.
• Participate in P&C workflow and pre-renewal meetings; minimal travel.
