Qualifications
- Minimum five years of television news producing experience.
- Experience leading newsroom teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to coach and develop newsroom talent.
- Excellent news judgment and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the presentation, quality, and execution of all newscasts on air and digital.
- Provide daily leadership of Executive Producers, producers, and newsroom staff.
- Coach staff to strengthen editorial judgment and storytelling.
- Oversee breaking news coverage and coordinating resources under deadline.
- Plan sweeps, special coverage, and promotable content initiatives.
- Recruit and retain top-producing talent.
- Foster innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively across newsroom and partner departments.
