Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an Executive Office Administrator to provide advanced administrative and project support to an executive leader.

You will manage the leader's calendar, coordinate meetings, events, and complex travel, and ensure materials are prepared and aligned with department goals. The role requires 7–10 years of experience with senior leaders in large organizations, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 7–10 years with executive leaders in complex organizations.
  • Proactive with ability to anticipate needs and manage priorities.
  • Need strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
  • Experience creating complex documents and presentations; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work priorities with the executive leader.
  • Manage executive schedule and gatekeep meetings.
  • Reschedule calendar to address unfolding developments.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and notes.
  • Lead events logistics including vendors, venues, catering, AV.
  • Support administrative projects for executives.
  • Produce professional correspondence and reports.
  • Assist in process design and improvement for executives.
  • Oversee travel itineraries for client visits and speakers.
  • May supervise junior administrative staff.
