Job summary

Aon is seeking a Vice President/Broker II (FSG) to lead client engagements in the Financial Services Group, focusing on D&O, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, and Kidnap/Ransom coverage. The role is hybrid, based in New York, NY.

The candidate will assess client needs, negotiate with carriers, and present complex insurance concepts while building cross-functional relationships across product, brokers, and account teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in brokering, underwriting, and / or other relevant executive liability proven experience.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Clear and effective written and verbal expression.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs, craft solutions and negotiate with carriers for client-favorable coverage (D&O, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, KRE).
• Analyze and present sophisticated insurance contract concepts.
• Explain renewal strategies and market dynamics to clients with clear overviews.
• Utilize underwriting and diagnostic skills to improve client programs and opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with external contacts (treasury, legal, risk) and build internal cross-functional ties.
• Develop and deliver client and prospect presentations with senior team members.
• Leverage underwriter relationships to improve broking results through carrier insights.
• Coordinate with claims and legal advocacy per protocols and senior guidance.
• Apply negotiation skills to secure optimal broking outcomes for clients.
