Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) (DON) seeks an Assistant Inspector General for Investigations in the NAVINSGEN. You will direct the Investigations Division, DoW Hotline, and whistleblower investigations, guiding policy and program execution to improve accountability and compliance.

As a senior executive, you will lead strategic efforts, manage resources, and coordinate with the DoW IG. Telework is allowed ad-hoc; relocation may be reimbursed; a security clearance is required.

Competenze

• Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Technical Qualifications (TQs) required for SES leadership roles.
• Prior experience directing investigative operations and policy in a federal agency is preferred.

Mansioni

• Direct the NAVINSGEN Investigations Division including the DoW Hotline and whistleblower investigations.
• Develop and execute investigative policy, strategic objectives, and long-range goals.
• Liaise with the DoW Office of Inspector General to implement hotline and whistleblower programs.
• Lead oversight and reform initiatives to improve timeliness, transparency, and due process in investigations.
• Oversee intake, determinations, analyses, and final products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage division resources, budget, and information systems acquisitions.
