Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Executive Director for Asset Based Lending to originate, structure, and close complex ABL opportunities across the organization. You will lead a deal team and work with sponsors, intermediaries, and internal partners to generate new business and manage risk within the bank's risk appetite.

The role requires a strong track record in originating and closing large CR/ABL transactions, deep knowledge of lending products, and the ability to build durable client

Qualifications

• 8+ years Asset-Based Lending or related financial services.
• Extensive knowledge of Asset Based Lending products and market trends, private equity, capital markets, merger and acquisition structures, and credit analysis.
• Formal commercial bank/ABL credit training preferred.
• Proven track record of origination and closing complex loan transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, structure, and execute ABL transactions for targeted prospects and clients (credit facilities from $10M to $250M).
• Develop relationships with key prospects, referral sources, and internal partners.
• Lead a team of junior ABL bankers from opportunity evaluation to closing/funding.
• Develop effective calling and business development practices to optimize pipeline.
• Manage and prioritize a financing opportunities pipeline.
