Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Senior Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across a campus-based unit. You will drive menu development, inventory management, food cost controls and staff development to ensure top-quality meals.

The role focuses on on-trend, safe, and sanitary production, with emphasis on leadership and adherence to high culinary standards across retail, dining and catering services.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience and leadership roles.
• Culinary degree preferred and Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience with planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work with an industry leader.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email and the Internet).

Responsibilities

• Develop high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining and catering operations.
• Train, develop and provide inspirational leadership to local culinary team.
• Lead corporate social responsibility, food seasonality, health/wellness and high-quality culinary arts on campus.
• Analyze ongoing performance and trends in the local operation and lead improvements.
• Demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain them to customers.
